Weatherly's 4th of July Parade had great attendance and will be an event to remember - we had decorated bicycles, tricycles, wagons, and even dressed up pets for the occasion. Local CBS 42 News station came to film the parade for Evening News (if you happened to record the news, let us know, and we will put it on the web).

What started as an idea of two neighborhood moms turned out, with the help of neighbors and sponsor support, as a great day of fun for the neighborhood. Please read more about organizers, sponsors and helpers of this event at the end of this article.

Special thanks to Alabaster Police Department for making our parade official with police escort and sound of sirens, and keeping our riders safe.
