Most everyone who have had Girl Scout cookies will agree, that they are very delicious, and impossible resist. Once you taste them, you are hooked! You wait for the year to go by, so you can get another order of your favorite cookies from your local Girl Scout troop.

ImageWe will have our local Girl Scout troop 1620 selling cookies by the Weatherly Clubhouse every Saturday 9AM - 1PM starting Valentines Day, February 14 through March 7th. Just in time for Valentines Day! Click here to contact Girl Scouts Troop 1620 to reserve your cookies and have them ready for pickup, or if you have any questions. Cookies are $3.50/box

This year's cookies:

  • Lemon Chalet Cremes (NEW), lemon sandwich cookies
  • Dulce De Leche (NEW), Latin-inspired caramel
  • Trefols, old fashioned shortbread
  • Chocholate Chips, sugar free, all the taste none of the sugar
  • Do-Si-Dos, peanut butter crèmes
  • Tagalongs, peanut butter patties
  • Samoas, chewy and rich
  • Thin Mints, made with natural peppermint

The sale of cookies as a way to finance Girl Scout troop activities began as early as 1917, five years after Juliette Gordon Low started Girl Scouting in the United States.

Girl Scout cookies are baked by Little Brownie bakers and are highest quality products.

I keep hearing that Girl Scout Cookies freeze well, but personally I have never had any left to freeze. In my household they are never left over for later time.

If you personally do not like sweets, nor cookies, consider buying them and give away as a gift to your neighbors and friends. It's not just a delicious cookie, it is so much more!

Verse of The Day

“ We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.” (2 Thessalonians 1:3)
